ATSEA is many things, but it is mostly Omar Prazhari. It is also an indie pop/dream pop project to look at scenery to. ATSEA is based in Vancouver, Canada via Jakarta, and has released an EP called Bleak Tropics on April 2015 which tells the longing of Omar's hometown, Jakarta. The features of dream pop and sea-inspired sounds in this album was a perfect conjoint to illustrate the distant he has with his memories of friend and family, as Omar himself claims what inspired him to name the project at the first place was his experience of having one unforgettable family trip on a ship.
After a long break and several times of line up changes, ATSEA is now consisted of Omar Prazhari, David Bain, Nadya Isabella, Cameron Robinson and Elijah Teed. The band is cooking up their debut full length while in the process teases us with the release of their first singalong-able single "Be Found", Omar's simple attempt on questioning the quality of belonging. "To be found, to feel found" strikes as a hook to underline that it is not only important to be there, but also feel there.
